The government of Ghana has made an agreement with the country’s top three telecom companies to provide a special data package for Independence Day.

This package will greatly improve internet access for people.

Sam George, a Member of Parliament, announced on Twitter that President John Dramani Mahama directed this initiative.

It’s part of a push to make the internet more accessible to everyone.

The telecom companies involved are MTN Ghana, Telecel Ghana, and AT Ghana. They have agreed to offer a GHS10 data bundle that gives users 6GB of data.

OFFER: ¢10 for 6GB

Offer expires after 72 hours (3 days)

MTN => Dial *138#, option 2

AIRTELTIGO => Dial *533#, option 3

TELECEL=> Dial *700# option 9

The normal HOLIDAY BUNDLE was ¢10 for 1GB or 3GB.

This is a significant increase compared to the usual 1GB or the 3GB typically available during holidays at the same price.

This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to creating a fully digitalized Ghana, ensuring Ghanaians can access the vast opportunities of the interconnected world from the comfort of their homes.
