The event provided an opportunity for the minister to interact with staff, outline his vision and reaffirm his commitment to advancing Ghana’s education sector.
He emphasised the critical role of the ministry’s workforce in shaping policies that will drive quality education delivery and urged them to work collaboratively, ensuring efficiency, innovation and inclusivity in the education reforms.
Mr Iddrisu also assured them of his open-door policy, fostering teamwork and engagement to achieve the ministry’s objectives.
School feeding
Touching on the free senior high school (SHS) and feeding, he said all he wanted was to see that there was food available for students, requesting the chief director of the ministry to work towards the first quarter of the year.
“At least, for the first one month, we should not hear from the director general of the Ghana Education Service (GES) that students don’t have food to feed.
“We will look at the numbers where we need to adjust, based on your advice, in order that the children can have quality food,” Mr Iddrisu said.
