Ghana’s Economic Policies Explained for Business Owners

The Honourable Minister of the Interior, Muntaka Mohamed-Mubarak, visited the Ghana Immigration Service and the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons as part of his working tour.

At the GIS headquarters, he commended the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Mr. Kwame Asuah Takyi, and his team for their tireless efforts in securing Ghana’s borders.

Hon. Muntaka also acknowledged the challenges faced by GIS, including logistical constraints, and assured them of Government’s commitment to retooling the Service to enhance their operations.

At the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons, the Hon. Minister called for collaboration and coordination among stakeholders to combat the proliferation of small arms and light weapons.

Hon. Muntaka noted that the commission plays a critical role in promoting peace and security in Ghana and the sub-region.
