The Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Ghana, His Excellency Irchad Razaaly paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Work, Housing and Water Resources, Hon Kenneth Gilbert Adjei on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
H.E Irchad Razaaly in his remarks, disclosed the EU’s intent to fund water supply projects in the Northern Regions of the country, in line with the signed framework agreement between Ghana and the EU.

Welcoming the delegation, Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei expressed the government’s gratitude to the EU for its support towards the country’s water sector, particularly in rural and small-town communities.
The sector Minister indicated that the provision of water infrastructure is in sync with the government’s desire to expand water supply in communities such as Tamale, Yendi, Sang, Savelugu, Pong Tamale, Diare and its surrounding areas.
