Accra, Ghana – The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) and outgoing Communications Director of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), Mr. Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has extended a message of goodwill to all candidates contesting for various positions in the upcoming GOC Elective Congress scheduled for Saturday, 26th April, 2025.
In a brief statement issued yesterday, Mr. Ankrah acknowledged the challenges and internal differences that may have shaped the outgoing administration but emphasised the importance of unity and continuity. He urged all stakeholders to preserve and build upon the legacies of the Ben Nunoo Mensah-led administration to ensure a stronger and more effective Ghana Olympic Committee.
“I remain hopeful that this election will be conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner, which will further reinforce the goodwill and credibility the GOC enjoys among the Ghanaian public,” he said.
